KG & Co. Design Studio | Est. 2020

Well hello there!  Thank you for stopping by my little corner of the internet. This page that you landed on is literally my dream come true.  A place that shows every time I look at it what hard work and determination can create…one that slaps me in the face and says “See?!  You CAN do hard things.”

{If you are reading this you are likely doing hard things too…let me tell you that you CAN do it!}

This journey is one that I will share with my kids for years to come and make sure they understand that this was done with them, for them, and most importantly, alongside them.  Because fact that I have 8 little eyes watching and learning from me 24/7 is a huge motivator to teach them to dream big and live bigger.

For those who don’t already know me I am Kimberly.  Through my life I have been drawn to the pretty things.  As a child I doodled on anything that wasn’t nailed down.  From the earliest age I carried a purse full of glitter pens and I learned the beauty of calligraphy from my Dad, who still will sit and admire beautifully hand written quotes with me.

I was born a rule follower and people pleaser.  As a result, I learned at a young age that it was best to check all the boxes.

  • Go to college – CHECK
  • Get a job – CHECK
  • Raise a family – CHECK

I was not raised to be an entrepreneur but somehow, that found its way to me, and I quite literally fell in love with it.

I knew I wanted to be a Mom and more than anything to stay home with my children.

{I know this is not everyone’s dream and I respect all dreams…this was just MY dream.}

I was granted that wish and am the insanely proud Mama to four amazing kiddos.  When my youngest was born, my oldest had just turned five…no twins in the mix…you do that math. I was a non-stop diaper changing, burping, playing, feeding, reading, breaking up fights kind of Mom.  24 hours a day…day after day.

I loved it, but is this really all I was meant to do?  As life began to feel like Groundhog Day I wondered if there was more I could give, but on my own terms.  It was through that wonder that I found my first entrepreneurial journey with a company called Rodan + Fields.

Rodan + Fields gave me a passion.  Goals.  Women to link arms and dream with, outside the home.  It taught me to be a leader, and put others before myself, and introduced me to absolutely incredible women.

As if that wasn’t enough, Rodan + Fields literally FUELED my passion for women led businesses.

I began to see that as women we don’t need to check all the proper boxes.  Give that girl a sparkle marker and let her make her own box.  This is what I did and what I hope for all of you.  I spent the next few years making and checking my own boxes…which led me here.  To you.  The best part of the journey.  Now I get the chance to know what boxes you want to create for yourself and {hopefully} get invited on your journey to get them all checked off…one by one.

KG & Co. Design Studio was born to celebrate YOU and your choice to create something fabulous for yourself.  You have a gift to share with the world and I help get your message out through beautiful branding and logo design.

I mean we all know a girl needs to look good when she puts herself out there right?  First impressions absolutely matter!!

When I was forming this company in my head, two things mattered most.  I wanted to serve strong women, and I wanted to never let budget be a prohibiting factor.  It is those goals that led me to create clean, classic logo designs that fit all budgets.  Your visual identity should represent you and tell your story.  When you look at your logo, you should feel extremely proud of yourself.  Because what you are doing is amazing.

{I’ll tell you that again and again on our journey together.}

As I formally welcome you and thank you for reading this post, I can tell you this is not how I wanted to meet.  What I would love more than anything is to be curled up on the couch with you, notebook and fresh sparkle markers in hand, ready to map out your dreams.  While that may not be a reality, I am full of gratitude that I am able to meet you here, in this space, and learn all about you and the boxes you plan to draw for yourself with your own fancy markers.
